TARA FAQ

100%! All our pieces are made of 14-karat gold and never plated. For our flagship collection we use gray diamonds, black diamonds, and opals. If you care for them as we recommend, you will enjoy them forever.

All of our pieces are handmade by artisan goldsmiths in the Philippines. Coming very soon, we will take you into our studios so you can take a peek at the painstaking process involved in making TARA pieces.

We purchase our gold from the Philippines, and, our stones and diamonds from Bangkok and India. While we can certify that our stones are conflict-free and ethically sourced, we are currently tracking the source of our gold.

We want to get to a point where all of our materials are ethically sourced and we will update this space as we know more.

Our collection of interchangeable studs and danglers are designed to be creatively customized to keep up with your bold, dynamic life. Our pieces are made of high quality gold and stones, so you can wear them now while you build a jewelry wardrobe you will love forever. Wear them when you need to nail that first interview, when you need to show them who’s boss, when you want to let your hair down, or even when you just want to create that fashion moment. Our products reflect our belief that you can create yourself. Your life, your career, your look.

We know that feeling of wanting to hold something in your hands before you buy it. At the moment, there is no way to hold the product in your hands without purchasing it. We do our best to photograph the pieces and we also make purchasing TARA hassle free by covering return shipping fees.

We are always thinking of the best way to pop into the cities where our TARA girl lives, works and plays. That way, they can come and see our pieces for themselves. If you want to see us in your city, please shoot us an email at team@ishoptara.com. We’d love to know where you are!

We love collaborating on new designs especially when it involves a piece you love so much. Due to the size of our operation, we are unable to do any custom work right now. But if it means so much to you, shoot us an email at team@ishoptara.com and we will see what we can do.

SHIPPING

If you live in any of the 50 states and Puerto Rico, TARA will deliver to you! Our pieces might take longer to get to you if you live in Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, but they will get there.

We do not ship internationally yet. But if you can’t wait to own a TARA piece, drop us a note and we will see what we can do: team@ishoptara.com.

Shipping to these states will take a bit longer. Expect about 12-16 days from the time of your order.

1) Ground: (5-8 days): Always free for orders over $300. For orders under $300, we charge a $10 flat shipping fee.

2) Expedited (2-3 days and available to the 48 contiguous states): $25

3) Overnight (1-2 days and available to the 48 contiguous states): $35

As soon as we receive your order, we will process it for shipment. All orders placed after 12 pm PT are processed the following day. Our FedEx or USPS guy will then pick it up from us and be on his way to bring the pieces to you. You will receive an email with tracking number as soon as it’s on its way.

Don't worry! Sometimes, it takes a couple of days to update your shipment status. Email us at team@ishoptara.com and we will let you know where your package is.

This stuff happens. But no worries! We will correct it for you if your purchase hasn’t shipped yet. Please email us at team@ishoptara.com.

You are not alone! We’ve tested our jewelry for nickel and lead and while it should be totally safe for you to wear, we cannot guarantee our products will not trigger an allergic reaction.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Sorry it didn’t work out. You can return your unused pieces within 30 days of receiving them. Just send us an email at team@ishoptara.com. We will send you a return label and you can return it back to us. We will refund you in full back to your original form of payment. However, please note that we will not refund any shipping charges you paid.

If you have any other questions about returning your pieces or have any second thoughts, email us at team@ishoptara.com.

Refunds will take 5-10 business days to appear back on your statement.

You can drop it off at any USPS collection box, USPS post office or any FedEx store.

BILLING

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards.

Your credit card will be charged as soon as your order is accepted and processed.

Not to worry, it happens to the best of us. Check the following:

  • Check that your card is not expired.
  • Double check the accuracy of your credit card’s billing details; such as the billing address and the security code (i.e. what you’ve entered into the checkout details).
  • Call your credit card issuer – they might’ve have stopped this payment from going through.

At any time, you can view your order status on your My Account page. This page will be updated as soon as possible, at two different stages: first, when your credit card is charged and again when your product is shipped.

We only accept one promo code at a time. We are sure that there will be other opportunities to use your promo code in the future.
